A shared space for useful local messages and experiments while the network grows.
Local observations, events and useful information.
“Can anyone hear this from Headington?” “Testing from Botley.” “New repeater online.”
Reports from different parts of the city.
Meet other people helping build OXMESH.
Devices, antennas, portable nodes, radio and mesh networking.
Public channel
MeshCore hashtag channels are topic-based channels derived from their channel name. Treat #radioxford as public rather than private.
Do not send:
Add the hashtag channel #radioxford using your MeshCore companion application. If the app interface changes, follow the current official MeshCore guide rather than guessing from old screenshots.
Keep the channel useful, friendly and easy for newcomers to understand.
Label tests as tests, avoid unnecessary repeated transmissions and share useful coverage observations.
Be friendly, remember it is public and help people who are new to the mesh.
